Shri Krishna preached Geeta to Arjuna and removed all the delusions and confusions of Arjuna. That day was Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month. On this date, Geeta was revealed from the mouth of Shri Krishna, hence Geeta Jayanti is celebrated on this day. Mahalakshmi should be worshiped along with Lord Vishnu on Mokshada Ekadashi. Along with this, worship Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and can donate this book to anyone. Those who observe Ekadashi fast, they should remain fasting throughout the day and if it is not possible to remain hungry throughout the day, they can eat fruits. Devotees can also consume milk and fruit juice. Along with worship and worship during this fast, one should also do charity. Donate warm i.e. woolen clothes on Wednesday. Donate money for the care of cows in a cowshed. Recite Geeta on Geeta Jayanti. Listen to sermons related to Geeta. You can listen to the Bhagwat Katha of any saint. If you do not have time to recite the entire book, then you can recite some of its chapters as per your time. Special worship of Lord Ganesha should also be done on Ekadashi and Wednesday Yoga. Offer Durva to Lord Ganesha and offer Modak. Om Gan Ganpatayai Namah: Chant the mantra. In Vishnu puja, Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya mantra should be chanted at least 108 times. It will be very auspicious if you use Tulsi rosary for chanting mantras. Offer water to Tulsi on the morning of Ekadashi and in the evening worship Tulsi by lighting a lamp. On this fast, anoint Bal Gopal, the child form of Lord Krishna, with Dakshinavarti conch. Abhishek should be done with saffron mixed milk and offer water after milk. Decorate with necklaces, flowers and new clothes. Offer butter and sugar candy with basil. Chant the mantra Krim Krishnaya Namah. Perform Aarti by lighting incense sticks and lamps.
