Two-wheeler maker company Kawasaki India has today (20 November) launched the 2025 model of its super sports bike Ninja ZX-4R in India. The company claims that this is India's first middle-weight 4-cylinder super sports bike. The bike will compete with Yamaha R15 400 in the Indian market.
The company has introduced Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R in a single variant with special metallic spark black color option. Apart from this, no changes have been made in the bike. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 8.79 lakh, which is Rs 30 thousand more than the previous model.
The high performance bike will be imported as a Complete Built Unit (CBU). According to the company, the Ninja ZX-4R offers similar riding handling experience to the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-6R included in its lineup. The bike runs on 17 inch alloy wheels.
The most powerful sports bike in the 400cc segment The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R has a 399cc liquid-cooled, inline-four-cylinder engine, which generates 77hp power at 14,500rpm and 39Nm torque at 13,000rpm. The engine is tuned with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The bike with this engine is the most powerful bike in the 400cc segment in India.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R: Suspension, Braking and Features The Kawasaki ZX-4R is designed on a trellis frame. For comfort riding, the sports bike has Showa USD front forks and pre-load adjustable rear monoshock suspension. For braking, the bike has been provided with 290mm dual front disc brake and 220mm rear disc brake.
The bike gets dual-channel ABS with Kawasaki traction control. Talking about the features, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R comes with a 4.3-inch full-color TFT display, which has Bluetooth connectivity. The bike has customizable riding modes – Sport, Rain and Road.
