Sharda Sinha, famous as Bihar Kokila, passed away: Got recognition from Chhath songs, breathed her last in Delhi AIIMS on the first day of the festival – Patna News

Famous folk singer Sharda Sinha of Bihar, admitted in Delhi AIIMS, died on Tuesday night. She was 72 years old. He breathed his last on the first day of Chhath Mahaparva.

Sharda was admitted to Delhi AIIMS on 26 October after her health deteriorated. When his condition improved on November 3, he was shifted to the private ward of the ICU. Her oxygen level started falling on the evening of November 4, after which she was on ventilator.

PM Modi expressed condolences on the demise of Sharda. He said- Maithili and Bhojpuri folk songs sung by her (Sharda) have been very popular for the last several decades. The echo of his songs related to the great festival Chhath will always remain.

On Tuesday, the PM spoke to Sharda's son Anshuman Sinha on phone. He had inquired about the health of Sharda Sinha. At the same time, Union Minister Giriraj Singh had also come to meet Sinha's family at Delhi AIIMS. Union Minister Chirag Paswan also went to Delhi AIIMS on Monday evening.

Treatment was going on for 12 days Sharda Sinha was admitted to Delhi AIIMS on 26 October. He was undergoing treatment here for the last 12 days. He was also having difficulty in eating and drinking.

The son had said- pray for mother Sharda Sinha's son Anshuman had come live on YouTube on the evening of November 4 and asked people to pray for his mother. He had said, 'My mother is on ventilator. They are in great need of prayers and blessings. Now all of you continue praying. My mother has gone to a big fight. It is very difficult to win this fight. Just pray that he can come out fighting.

Sharda Sinha's husband died on 22 September On September 22 this year, Sharda Sinha's husband Brajkishore Sinha died due to brain hemorrhage. Sharda Sinha is known for Chhath songs.
